Mary had been cooking and baking up a storm in the kitchen for the last two days.

Why?

She wanted to have a late New Years party with her new family. Pops approval with a smile and no questions asked, however, it was trying to get her husband on board. He didn't see anything wrong with it. Pops would have hosted a party for all of the gang members who didn't have families or lovers to go back home to for the holidays.

A tradition Mary's mother had started when she was alive and hosted with Pops' Wife until their passing.

He was about to agree when she informed him that Dabi and Hawks invited themselves to the party.

The yakuza's golden eyes widen, then his jaw and gloved hands clenched. Dabi, he understood, the walking burn victim had been offered as a temp from The League instead of Himiko Toga. The bastard even dared challenge him for his wife's affection.

Now, this Winged Hero was sniffing around and strutting like he owned the place. Why were both of these other men trying to become mate candidates? He could provide, shelter, and protect her. She didn't need them!

It was bad enough that Dabi was growing closer to Eri, using the girl to get to Mary, knowing his wife adores the child as her own. Dammit, it was working!

He didn't need one of those Heroes diseased with Hero Syndrome making his nest in their home too.

Closing his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose through his black duster mask, took a deep breath and let it out. "Someone above or below is trying my patience." He bit out and opened his eyes. The tension leaving his body and shoulders as he meet his beloved mismatched gaze.

Once a humble coffee shop nestled in the heart of a great free company, The Fireside was the go-to place for members of Firelight Trading Company looking for a bite to eat after a long mission. Realising its potential as both a meeting place and a means of capital, its proprietor expanded the business throughout the various city-states of Eorzea until The Fireside became synonymous with coffee, company and great food; sourly needed after the anguish of The Final Days. Now, patrons old and new can gather to enjoy the hospitality and cosy atmosphere these avenues provide. Welcome to The Fireside! This establishment was made to focus on the creation and fostering of late-night/oceanic roleplay. Though physically located in Balmung/Crystal's Shirogane, the Fireside's expansion into almost all the city-states creates a space where your character can walk in from almost anywhere, and our focus on a coffee-shop with a laid-back atmosphere encourages off-the-cuff, casual roleplay that can turn into more. The Fireside will be re-opening for events shortly after Dawntrail's release. The staff are going to take some time to get through the MSQ and give everyone else a chance to play the expansion for a little bit before we begin again, but we're making a come back! Please look forward to it!

Until then, as always, the cafe is open to the public 24/7 for both your /gpose and roleplay hobbies! However, during off hours the café will not currently be staffed. Please feel free to NPC any baristas or waiters you might need for your Roleplay in the mean time.

Talk about scary, even if you didn't feel the pain from the adrenaline in your veins, you appeared so upset while fighting both Shinso and Todoroki.

Rules: do’s & don’ts

There is almost no rule for what is or isn't allowed on this blog, we are accepting of basically all and any content. When something is not allowed there is a good reason for it, so please try not to break the rules.

What you can not post

Anything too explicit. Detailed NSFW starters, graphic GIFs or pictures used as decoration and the like. If you really want to share a detailed vision of the scene that will be acted out in the roleplay, send a link to google docs, carrd, another post, etc that people can check out. This is primarily about smut but it applies to gore as well. To be super clear, smut and gore are not banned from the blog, you can request any kink/situation you like, but you will need to discuss the details with your partners. For example, asking for a BDSM roleplay is fine, writing out details of the smut scene in your request is not. This is to avoid possible reports based on the NSFW ban.

Wait 24 hours before submitting again from the moment the ask is posted. You can post ads requesting different RPs, just not the same ask. This is to avoid cluttering.

It goes without saying, this is RP only. You can't send requests for dating or similar.

You can only send ads through asks or submissions. If you need help with those I'll be happy to lend a hand, but don't send your requests via DMs. If the inbox is closed it means it's full/I'm not active, please be patient and, again, don't try to get your ad in through DMs. I won't be able to post your ad from DMs.

That's it, pretty easy, right?

What you can post

Generally, anything not mentioned above is allowed. However, since some things get asked often, I will make a general list of things that are allowed for your convenience.

RPF is allowed. 

Discord servers and other groups are allowed. 

Things related to RPing, even if not strictly roleplay-seeking, are allowed. Other roleplay finders, RP resources, and even questions about roleplaying are all allowed. 

Minors are allowed. 

Dead dove content is allowed.

What you should/shouldn't do

Your ask will be published even if you don't abide by these rules. However, keeping this in mind will make for a better experience for everyone involved.

Be as clear as possible about the fandom and other relevant information. I can't tag it if you don't tell me where these blorbos come from. If the fandom has alternate names/acronyms include everything!

If you're going to include more than 20 fandoms in your search, split the post into two separate requests. There's a maximum of 30 tags allowed on a post, out of which only the first 20 will show up in searches. If you include more, the rest will go untagged/will not show up in searches.

Don't censor triggers. It just interferes with people that have these words blocked. Don't write inc*st, write incest.

Miscellaneous other stuff

I am not the police, your parents, or HR. If you have a disagreement with your RP buddy I can't intervene to solve it for you, nor can I put them in time out. Unpleasant things happen online, learn to block and move on. Please don't message me - or worse, send anon asks - with callouts for certain users and ask them to block/warn others.
